Tiana Masaniai was born on November 17,1987 in Fountain Valley, California. Her mother is from the Polynesian island of American Samoa and her father is of Egyptian descent. Tiana was raised in Santa Ana, CA. When she was 17 years old, she moved to Phoenix, AZ where she volunteered with a non-profit organization for 2 years. She stayed in Phoenix and attended Arizona State University, graduating with an Associates degree in Business and a Bachelors degree in Public Relations. She began modeling at the age of 18 years old, which is when she began to discover her keen interest in the Entertainment industry and the Arts. During and after college she worked in Advertising while pursuing modeling. Her modeling career eventually led her to acting in commercials. After a decade of working as a model/actress and Advertising Manager, she decide it was time to pursue her career in the Entertainment industry full-time. It wasn't long before she found herself auditioning theatrically and booking lead roles in films like the Netflix Sci-Fi film Stasis (2017), where she played a kick-ass assassin from the future, and the Award-Winning film IMperfect (2016), where she won the award for Best Actress at the Love International Film Festival. She reminds us of a young Latina Jordana Brewster meets Zoe Saldana meets Shay Mitchell.
