GRANT HARVEY is one of the most promising young actors to emerge out of Los Angeles. In addition to Jordan Ross' THUMPER which The Orchard bought following the world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, Harvey co-stars in BILLY BOY, the directorial debut of Bradley Buecker, one of Ryan Murphy's chief collaborators. Co-starring and written by Blake Jenner, BILLY BOY is an intense story of troubled young men in search of redemption. Melissa Benoist also stars. Harvey is at work on "The Crossing," a new series for ABC that revolves around refugees from a war-torn country who start showing up to seek asylum in an American town. But the country these people are from is America, and the war they are fleeing is 250 years in the future. Harvey plays Roy, a young, by-the-book agent charged with helping look after the refugees. Written/executive produced by Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie and executive produced by Jason Reed, "The Crossing" stars Sandrine Holt and Steve Zahn. Born in Hawthorne, NV, Harvey grew up running his family's pizza parlor alongside his parents and brother Brian. He moved to Los Angeles after studying journalism for a few years at the University of Nevada, slept on couches and took several part-time jobs before landing his first acting gig on the ABC Family series, "The Secret Life of The American Teenager," starring Shailene Woodley. Fittingly, he portrayed Grant Volberg, a pizza delivery boy. Harvey's television credits also include Dan Fogelman's "The Neighbors" and guest starring roles on "Masters of Sex," "Supernatural," "Luther," "CSI," "NCIS" and "Criminal Minds." On film, Harvey appeared in IFC's SAVE THE DATE with Lizzy Caplin and Alison Brie. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Main Stage PR
