Born and raised in Lincolnshire, Tom began his career as an actor; completing a BTEC in Performing Arts in 2004 and appearing in numerous theatre productions. After completing a two-year course in music theory and management, he worked on various projects including the Warp Films/Channel 4 mini-series "Privado" in 2012. Tom switched to directing and producing in 2015, collaborating with long-time friend and award-winning screenwriter Adam Luff. Co-directed the short film "The Samaritan" with Luff, and later produced and starred in the horror short "Nurture Of The Beast", which secured several awards nominations including Best Actor and Best Short Film. In mid-2018 Tom was accepted onto the BAFTA Crew Programme as a director and producer. Later that year he released the trailer for his latest project, "The Guiding Light"; a surreal musical short starring scream queen Jessica Messenger from a script by Luff. The trailer was met with praise; having screened at numerous festivals and secured Brumpton his first award as a filmmaker from the Avalonia Film Festival. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Tom Brumpton
