Rose Cooper was born and raised in Paris, Texas. The youngest of seven children, she was home-schooled with her older brothers and sisters who frequently wrote, directed, and starred in their own plays. After seeing The King and I (1956) as a child, Rose knew film acting was for her, but her chance wouldn't come for several years. During her teen years, she worked for and achieved her Black Belt in traditional taekwondo. After her senior year, she moved to the east coast of Taiwan for a year and a half to teach English in elementary schools, where she learned a little Mandarin Chinese. In October 2013, local independent filmmakers in Texas offered her multiple featured roles in their film. 'Awakened' went on to win Best Documentary at the Christian Worldview Film Festival in San Antonio the following March. Shortly afterward, she trained in Los Angeles, CA, and has since been in films with actors Lorelei Linklater, Tom Hiddleston, and India Eisley. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Rose Cooper
