Anita Smirnova is an actress from Estonia based in Shanghai. She is established in China where her Mandarin capability has seen her land roles in the recent TV show, One Boat One World and the hit movie, Buddies in India. At the age of nineteen followed her father's advice by moving to Shanghai to learn Chinese and study Fashion Marketing. During that time she got some roles in commercials and had informal training at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, whilst learning Mandarin led to a full-time acting career after graduation. Anita's recent movie credits include lead roles in International Manhunt; Infected and Eastern Battlefield. She also starred in the shows Shanghai Dream; True Colour of Beauty; The Gate of Xuan Wu and The Guardian.
