Amy Hoerler is an actress based out of South Florida, working mainly in the independent film community. She gained an interest in acting as early as she could remember-emulating characters on television and movies and coming up with her own. She would love to hear her grandmother recite Grimm's fairy tales and would imagine a world of make-believe, staging at-home plays with her little sister. As Amy grew up, she didn't give acting a thought, believing that it was something only other people could do. It was only after the tragic events of 9/11 that she thrust herself into acting-stepping onstage for the first time in her life at the ripe age of 30. Amy studied under her teacher and mentor, Mr. Burt Reynolds, at the Burt Reynolds Institute until his death (2010-2018). In addition to being a Master Acting Graduate of the Burt Reynolds Institute, Amy also studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse and the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York City. Amy is represented by Susan Applegate of Applegate Talent (305-619-0124), Sharon Martin of Martin & Donalds (866-694-1160) and Glenn Burton of Burton & Robinson (239-645-6870). Her manager is L.A.-based Richie Walls of WEG (310-272-3525). She is a SAG-AFTRA Member in good standing, willing to work as local hire on paid SAG-AFTRA projects.
