Sameera trained as a scholarship student at Millennium dance 2000, where she studied theatre and professional dance. She then furthered her post-graduate studies by attending the Acting for Film course at The New York Film Academy in LA, and has since acted in such theatres/venues as The Royal Festival Hall, The Mayflower Theatre (Southampton), Victoria Theatre (Halifax) and Pentameters (London), with performances including West Side Story, Rent, Kiss me Kate, and Aladdin. In 2010 she joined the British Society of Cinematographers as an invited 'friend', and was invited to become a friend of the Directors Guild of Great Britain, by Chairman and Life Time Achievement Award winner Joe Dunton. Sameera was signed as a screenwriter by Independent Talent Group in 2013, after completing and selling her first screenplay - a biopic of actress Vivien Leigh and her battle with bipolar disorder. Since then, the screenplay 'Vivling' made the BRIT LIST in 2015, and Sameera has worked with companies such as ITV Studios, Freemantle Media, Urban Myth Films and On the Corner TV. 'Vivling' is now in the hands of Producer Michael Robinson of MGR Films. As well as writing, she is the owner of Production Company Constellations Entertainment - through which she recently wrote and produced her first 30 minute period-drama short film, Purple Heather, based on the life of a Romany Gypsy family facing prejudice and ostracism from the community they are forced to live within. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Alfie Dale
